Embrace the noise . . .

and I'm not just talking about having kids home from school! There are times when you just have to embrace the noise in a picture and relish the spirit of the shot.




between taking pictures at the middle school talent show and high school graduation, I have had to accept the noise level in my shots and enjoy the moment they captured.



[graduation pictures were taken with 70-300 mm, f/4.5-5.6; and all at an ISO of 1600 in poorly lit, to only stage lit, auditoriums.]

    I think these are wonderful moments and I'm not seeing much noise myself. Great shots!
