Random #1: "Before you take that tree down, can we interest you in some Valentine's Cards?"
Holiday Whiplash - it can happen to anyone.
Random #2: Save these, if you are in need of a Tums / antacid and none can be found,
I'm guessing these chalky candies might be a good alternative.
Random #3: I bought some Daiquiri Coolers a couple of years ago while at the beach and of the 4, two are still in the fridge. This bottle managed to be saved from one that was tasted, and poured out.
{Daiquiri Coolers --- seemed like a good idea at the time}
Question: Do Coolers age like wine and get better with time?

Random #4: When I first got married (eons ago) I got two cherub Christmas stocking holders. The frail little things could barely hold a ribbon let alone a stocking; unless of course you unwrapped the sticky tape on their buttocks and permanently affixed them to the fireplace mantel. Frankly, sticky buttocks on the mantel has never sounded like a good idea. Long story short - they tipped, they chipped, but against all odds, over 20 years later they are still around. They have been repurposed and now serve to hold dried flowers or a light ornament on Valentine's Day.
One has lost his wings and harp - but not his smile.

Random #5: Sometimes I buy holiday accessories without a clue of what to do with them. This wire strand of hearts and beads being one of them. A necklace maybe?
Well, that's it.
Have a happy day - with or without chocolates, flowers, or a date.

I am not sure what I'd do with the wire strand of hearts, but I do know I like them.
ReplyDeleteAh romance was here today. Loving your little Cherub, so cute. The heart strand was pretty too. You still had your tree up? That is a record I bet. I love Wine Coolers so mine never last long enough to wonder if they taste better with age.
