Travel can be planned to the ninth degree and still take on a life of its own.

20 percent chance of rain turns into 100 percent.

Casual meandering around the Capitol surrendered to masses of people yelling something about science.

And visiting a specific Smithsonian museum tabled due to a one hour entry wait 

(created by same said crowd and compounded by same said precipitation).

I have found I am better with going with the flow with a camera in hand 

(and a cell phone camera works fine too).

So as we made our way back to the subway to shift gears,

get dinner and shop, I clicked away.

None of the aforementioned changes of plan ruined our weekend at all.

Good times were had by all.
