NEW YORK CITY * . * . *

I had the time of my life chaperoning my daughter along with 22 other high schoolers on a trip to New York City for a week. It has taken me 3 days to feel human again and actually be able to look at a computer screen without going cross-eyed. We went at a pace that logged over 20 miles walking in a 3 day span, and crammed in as much of NYC as we possibly could in a short period of time. I have to admit, I was much more impressed with NYC this visit than I had been as a teenager (which was the last time I had been to NY). I have loads of photos and hope to process them and share soon.

  1. Great, great illustrated post! I will never thinkof been there, done that, bought the t-shirt the same way again. Can't wait to see what else you saw. I am sure you were exhausted after that speed walking tour! By the way, I like your spring snow shot. I woke up this morning to 3" and it's still snowing. Thanks weatherman, for the headsup! NOT!

  2. I love these! I'm from NY but moved away 12 years ago and these brought back some great memories. You have to buy the T-shirt! I got a onesie for my son when he was born. :)

  3. I think you definitely got all the right t-shirts for sure. I can't wait to see more pictures. Since I don't travel much myself, I love to see where other people go. Amazing.

  4. How awesome! I love the pictures (and I am sure there are TONS more), so I am looking forward to seeing them. I bet you have neat stories, too.

  5. I bet you got LOTS of photos for 26 Things. :)
    GREAT photos. !!!
