POTD: [all boy] / MY boy . . .

My now taller than me, shy, quiet, and laid-back son added 'supremely patient and oh mighty exalted tolerant one' to his character definition this past week. Poor boy was stuck hanging out with his mom and aunt because the teenage girls (cousin & co.) were too cool to hang with a tall, quiet, soft-spoken adolescent boy. (they are in that stage of drooling over "older" boys). Their loss!

{doesn't this last shot look so sad...he is not depressed, just looking for shells -
which, by the way, weighed a ton in our carry-on luggage on the trip home!}

  1. Nikki--I have drool marks on my monitor from your beach shots....I am SUCH a beach baby, and those just spoke to my heart. I love that last shot of your son; I can SO put myself in that photo!! He has amazingly blue eyes...what a nice looking kid!

  3. He's a handsome boy, and your description would fit my not quite 14 year old son, too!

  5. What a handsome guy! So cool looking! "oh mighty exalted tolerant one" certainly has a nice ring to it! But perhaps he really shouldn't start signing his papers with it just yet!
