POTD: Patriotic . . .

This week's photo of the day challenge is "patriotic" which I've probably covered with all the fireworks shots - but still felt compelled to post an American flag shot. This is of the old elementary school's flag poll that the PTO paid hard earned / fundraiser dollars for, and that the board of eduction ripped out and probably threw in some dump only 1 1/2 years after it was put up. (I'm hoping that they raffled it off to someone rather than trash it)
