Cup runneth over . . .

In response to a question to my last post: no, I did not set out to collect Santa Clauses, they just happened. As I built my cachet of Christmas decorations I did not focus on one group over another. I was more of an equal opportunity collector, with multiples of snowmen, angels, reindeer and Santa Clauses. However, when I inherited my mother's decorations, the tables tilted in Old Saint Nick's direction. Unlike me, she had specifically been collecting Santa Clauses of every size for years. So much so, that when it came time for me to take them home I found myself faced with the daunting task of whittling the collection down due to lack of storage space. In the years since, I have thought of a few I wish I had made the extra room to keep, but then I am reminded that they went to a home where they will be fully appreciated and enjoyed - and frankly, I have more than enough.

My cup of Santas hath most definitively runneth over.
