Yeah, Saturday is finally here and I'm off to spend a day in Columbus with my daughter. While it remains overcast and rather dull outside, I am grateful that the weather is considerably better than 18 years ago when it snowed to beat the band, or yesterday when it rained so hard, and the wind blew so strong, we found ourselves surrounded by birds. A regular Alford Hitchcock moment with Bluejays and Cardinals to the back, some kind of chubby brown birds to the side, and Canadian geese to the front. The geese were okay with my photography so long as I stayed on my side of the road, but the Bluejays refused to come out of the shrub.
