upstream . . .

Up the river without a paddle?
Did you know that paddling upstream can be faster than downstream?
Isn't the internet amazing? So many idioms and tidbits of facts - so little time.

Yesterday I came to the realization that I am losing my touch, or my vision, or both. I can't seem to get good focus in any of my pictures lately. Remedy: take more pictures. Problem: need to clean house and yard so remedy must wait. I also realized yesterday that I've lost touch with some of the working skills I used to take for granted. There was a time when I would whip out travel arrangements like there was no tomorrow. Now instead I find myself flustered and frustrated and questioning what approach I should take. Back in the day there wasn't Price Line (kinda like that place), Expedia, or H*O*T*W*I*R*E hot wire dot com! (you can thank me later for putting that tune in your head). Choices can be a good thing as long as you don't fall out of touch with how to apply them.

Moral of my story -
take lots of pictures,
clean your glasses,
and pay the man, Aunt Bee, just pay the man
(travel agents need to make a living too).

[disclaimer: this post was not paid for in any way, shape, or form by the kind travel agent who helped me out yesterday.
it was paid for by the husband who gave me some words of wisdom by Andy Griffith.]

  2. I know the feeling. About both the vision and the travel plans! Things aren't what they used to be! At least we're still healthy to enjoy it! Love your pic. It's great that you take pics of these cool little things.
