weekend postscript . . .

We spent a good portion of this past weekend at the local university for a honors program with our daughter. Remembering her desire for me to place more focus on her and less on taking pictures, I initially left the camera at home. When Sunday rolled around and it was time to retrieve her I decided it would be okay to take a picture or two to memorialize the event. No such luck - she was READY to head home and sleep and play her new video game (and not in that order). I did manage to squeeze in one photo while testing the lighting inside the dorm. But just one! Dang! This moratorium on taking pictures is cramping my style.

  1. I totallhy feel your pain! I try to be sly when I'm taking pictures so it doesn't bug my daughter! That's a cool picture.

  2. I understand to. I've been asked more than once by my family to "not" bring along my camera.

  3. I feel your pain, too. Erin has to be in the right mood to put up with my taking photos, and as she gets older, that right mood comes along much less frequently. I like that shot, though!

  4. My kid can't talk yet, so no complaints about the camera in his face all the time.

But congrats on the honors for your daughter. You guys must be really proud!

  5. my 5yr old said on the first day of school 'mom can we do pictures tomorrow' so I understand and I'm sure its just a matter of time before that ask me not to bring my camera anywhere lol :)
