melt down . . .

This poor sunflower looks like it had reached its limits and was bowing down in defeat to the sun's unrelenting heat. All summer I wanted to get some pictures of sunflowers, but it just never happened, except of course when I didn't have my camera on me and had to resort to my cell phone. Oh well - sometimes you take what you get and deal with it. In this case I've applied some Topaz Adjust and finished with Coffee Shop framing.

  1. Wow! I LOVE the processing! I keep picturing this large, as in poster sized! I especially like the "crunchiness" of the first shot, although the light flare is in the 2nd is also wonderful. And that looks like the perfect "etchy/edgy" framing around the shot. Is that a free coffee shot action, the framing?

  3. Thanks - Angela - yes, the framing is a free coffee shop action (web paint I believe).
