There are times when something catches my eye and my mind says,
"well, that would make a pretty picture."
"well, that would make a pretty picture."
but my ability to encapsulate it in a photo
falls short of the actual experience.

Oh---I agree! If only I could develop the pictures I have taken with my mental camera... I really like the shot with the early morning fog---very evocative, and you captured the lighting perfectly!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot! These scenes must have been nothing short of amazing since you've captured them so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteYou underestimate yourself, Nicki! You may not be capturing everything YOU see, but I love your images. Obviously, something of what you see still manages to come through.
ReplyDeleteAnd a pretty picture(s) it is. I love the way you captured the fog.
ReplyDeleteI often have that problem - what I see and what I take are not the same! But that is not your problem Nicki- beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a fabulous job of capturing these! The one with the fog is stunning.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. Sometimes what I want in there just doesn't "fit"! These are beautiful though - pretty mist!
