even when you look away from the ocean, the rising sun is the star of the show.

when I was young(er), my favorite time on the beach was mornings. I would walk for what seemed forever, picking up seashells along the way; but mostly just walking.
The scent of salty air, the sand, the sound of crashing waves and squeals of seagulls - all combined with a glorious sunrise have a way of clearing out your head and lifting your heart.
