There are those who believe each day of the week is associated with a different color and apparently Thursday's color is Purple. The color of good judgment; the color of spiritual fulfillment. It is said if you surround yourself with purple you will have peace of mind. All I know is that it has always been a favorite color of my daughter - even during the 'all black' stage.
Oh! What I wouldn't give to be able to grow eggplant here - growing season too short and not consistently warm enough, although this year might have been the exception on the heat!

ReplyDeleteHello Nicki, purple is my favorite color so this was a good post for me to find on my first visit to your blog. It's the color of my Feb birthstone too. I stopped in from Barbara's Commonplace Beauty Photography blog and enjoyed checking out some previous posts as well. I don't know the names of all the flowers I photograph either, but it never stops me from taking photos.
