the door to an old, abandoned rural post office that when I started playing with the contrasts,
naturally went towards blue; so I went with that theme.
I imagine that over the years, many a blue holidays were communicated through this location.
(yep, still adding a touch of snow - might just keep doing this through Christmas - what ever it takes to get me in a more jolly spirit. now off to hunt for missing tree ornaments - joy!)

Oh, looks like it has been a long time since that door has been opened.
ReplyDeleteLove this. The addition of snow is perfect.
ReplyDeleteOh I just love doors. Great processing.
ReplyDeleteLove this! I can hear it squeaking as the door opens. Isn't it an unwritten rule that screen doors must squeak? What a great find.
ReplyDeleteI adore this-old doors and windows are the best. Good luck finding the missing ornament.
ReplyDeleteTHAT is fab! LOVE it SO much, Nicki!
