This week's words are provided by Teresa of Eden Hills Photography:
** outside **
This is pretty much describes outside conditions this week: fog, unseasonably warm temperatures and rain.
I am confident the real winter will be upon us in a day or so.
** backside **
scoping out the birds.
tis that time of year when Ike and I look forward to seeing a Cardinal or Blue Jay among the mocking birds. We live a rip-roaring life this cat and I!
** little things **
one of the best excuses for not cutting back the ornamental grass - catcher of rain drops!
** a cup of **
how flipping cool are these globe mugs?
I ordered a set when I was a Senior in high school which makes it official - they are antiques!
They are in mint condition because they have mostly sit in a cabinet or been boxed up somewhere out of the reach of kiddos. At this point they're not exactly the size of mug I like to gulp my coffee from, but perhaps a nice coco or something.
...
Note to self: USE THESE!
** reflect **
I mentioned its been raining, right?
That fog is intense! Love the mug - way way cool!
ReplyDeleteThat mug is great! Great set this week. I'm going to have to plant some ornamental grass....it looks beautiful.

ReplyDeleteHappy hunting!:-)
Note to self....hee, hee, hee. The other note is, give them away (or whatever it is you're not using) to a thrift place and get a slip for a tax write off. I'm not seeming very charming with that, am I?
ReplyDeleteYour images are all lovely this week. The 1st three are all vying for my favorite. Have a great day Nicki.
I love dense fog like this....especially early in the morning when it's so very quiet. Beautiful scene. Oh and being a cat lover I enjoyed very much your 'backside'. Those globe coffee mugs are antique?!!! Dear me, then...what does that make me? Archival, I imagine.
ReplyDeleteLove the back of your cat's head and the grass pic. I used to have a set of those mugs I ordered years ago...wonder what happened to them. I bet they are packed away in some box I haven't opened in years because I can't imagine wanting to get rid of them.
ReplyDeleteGreat set this week...that is pretty much what it looks like here as well. Love those "antique" mugs!

Yea for rain! We are crossing our fingers the old wife’s tale of rain 90 days after fog is true. We need the moisture so bad.
