Hoping to get a handle on the total number of images we store, I have been consciously clearing out unwanted pictures either in camera or promptly upon uploading them to the computer. In the process I have concluded this is about as realistic as having good fortune come to you by merely throwing a pinch of salt over you shoulder and hoping it so.
What is worse is that I have discovered an occasional liking for blurry images.
Oh the art of it all!
I guess this could be best described as my 'blurry stage' which only differs from where I started when beginning photography because I am [now] doing it on purpose.
What the heck?!?!
I've been told it is totally different and completely acceptable when blur was the intended result.
To think I could have saved beaucoup bucks on books had I just told everyone that
"I meant little Susie to be slightly askew",
"really, who needs to see Uncle Ed's eyes",
or simply
"I like big butts and I can not lie."
well, maybe not that last one
. . .
Haha my dad loves that song. I also have a liking for blurry photos which I find kind of funny...
ReplyDeleteLol... I agree, let's that's the way I intended to shoot it!
ReplyDeleteSo...does this mean I'm really taking 'artful' photos, after all?
ReplyDeleteI think I like it.
Linda - yes, yes indeed!
DeleteThere are no mistakes, just happy coincidences :)
ReplyDeleteI like the way you think!
DeleteI like a lot of blur although, in most cases, I like at least a little tiny section to be in focus but, sometimes to create a mood, yes even the whole thing can be a blur...kind of like life.
ReplyDeleteoh you are funny...I'll remember that next time a blurry one comes along...art, that's what it is, art!!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I don't have a sharp mind anymore and have come to appreciate a little blur in all aspects of life. These photos are beautiful! I love color!! Color is the most important thing.
ReplyDeleteI like a little blur as well! Just think of the Impressionists and all the flak they got because people didn't understand their "blur". Art is perception, and I vote for blur...judiciously, of course!
ReplyDeleteEach person interprets what they deem is art....I like it......very freeing to take pictures and know we can value them as art or junk......The color is awesome in these photographs....
ReplyDeleteI've got lots of blurry photos (well, I do try to delete them too), and they are not as beautiful as these!
ReplyDeleteWish my blurry shots looked as good!!
ReplyDeleteThis post totally made me laugh. Loved it! Stopping by from the Valentine Blog party and am now your newest follower. Great shots... even the blurry ones. LOL
