will you still love me ...

will you still need me, will you still feed me when I'm sixty-four?

I was gone for 3 days, (not even a full 3 days at that) and Ike tried so hard to be pissed off at me. He ran when I would bend over to pick him up. He hid behind my son's legs in protest of my calling his name. He wanted nothing to do with suitcases, bags or boxes.
Plain and simple, he was none too happy about this little thing I referred to as a "road trip".

Yes Ike, I will still need you and feed you when you're sixty-four.
(or what ever 5 years in cat years is)

  3. Nice cat eye closeup! My little yorkie goes crazy when I start packing. I usually put her harness on so she knows she is going too.

  4. One of the reasons I love going on vacations is that when we leave for a few days and then come back they are so lovable for like 5 minutes then pretend that they don't care that you have been gone :P

  6. How can you leave such a beautiful boy?? They do do a good job of being "angry" and put upon. But they always come around.

  7. How about when he is 15 in cat years ( don't even know what that is in human) and poops on the rug occasionally?
Sorry, am I making this a little too personal?
