dear diary ...

I have tasted freedom
I have experienced its liberation

I have crawled with the tortoise
and raced with the hare

I have had it all

 I fear however
that with one grab
of the keys,
a brief interlude
with a friend,
and a well
formulated plan

I have forfeited that
freedom

~
diary,

at this time I can with complete conviction warn you

NEVER
ever

mess with a mom

and her car

 ~

Until further notice,
I'll be walking
Don't bother to text,
I have no phone
and FaceBook,
well that's a waste
cause there are no laptops
in the pokey

 your's truly,

just a teenage boy
who got his driver's license
and felt he knew it all

(yea, about that license -
the warden took it too!)

........

disclaimer:
no injury
came to any vehicle or person
unless you count mental anguish
inwhich case, a mom and dad
were sufficiently put through the ringer

  4. Oh, it sounds like quite the escapade. I am so not looking forward to my son driving.....
Very fun blog post - photos and captions, and I hope Mom and Dad are feeling less mental anguish now.

  5. Oh my, love the entire composition of your post, photos and words. Glad there were no injuries to people or property. Thankfully the many joys of raising children outweigh the mental anguish that accompanies them.
