when in Rome (and whatnot) ...

For fans of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, this will need no introduction. For those blissfully unfamiliar with the houtie-toutie going ons of the cast of said show, this is one of the restaurants owned by Lisa Vanderpump and her husband. (you perhaps remember her from Dancing with the Stars? - or maybe not?) In any event, my husband insisted that my sister and I have lunch at one of her restaurants and since the hideously staffed Sur only serves dinner - Villa Blanca it was.

It was understated
and still Beverly Hills

the portions were large
the food good
the service prompt

I expected fancier, snootier, and generally more pizazz;
 even so, I wasn't disappointed.

By all accounts we had a very good lunch.

Would I recommend it - yes.

If you are interested in a good meal at an affordable price in a less-than affordable neighborhood,
to be seated and waited on by very attractive young men and women
(quite possibly actors/actresses - honestly I  believe EVERYONE in LA has that on their resume)
then
you will not be disappointed.

  1. Looks fancy! But I guess there are levels of fancy in BH? Still, looks like a nice outing!

  4. Haha...totally a Real Housewives fan, so I'm envious you visited here! On the show, Lisa Vanderpump says she designs all the flower arrangements herself. IF that is true, she looks to be pretty awesome at it!
