OMGosh...this TOTALLY cracks me up! But only because it is a 100% dead-on depiction of teen reality. Thank you so much for the morning chuckle. And thank you for joining in at Song-ography.
Life today, keeping it real! These are really funny (and a little sad). I hope these kids had a great evening out and put down their phones now and then!
This made me laugh. Never would we ever have imagined the world of the cell phone not so long ago. last week, I got a check from my cousin... deposited it from my cell phone, then went to my online banking on my cell phone to check that it was recorded, them messaged her that it was here and in the bank. I said to her.... when we were both girls quite some time back, our phone was a big wood box that was hanging on the wall. You cranked the crank and got central to make a call. Who could ever have imagined how now, the cell phone seems to be the center of many peoples lives. How How How is this going to affect us all in t he long run. Going to make the television seem inconsequential. Your shot is amazing and totally represents all that you see everywhere. REplacing love.... I hope not, but could happen
Hahaha - I couldn't help, but laugh out loud (to the surprise of my hubby). That is so funny and so true. And, boy, am I guilty at times, too. But very consciously I am putting the cell phone aside these days. And just as consciously I am picking it up to take a photo or share it. :) But those photos, especially the second one speak stories :D
Oh my goodness, was she giving you the evil eye, or what! Hey, I think we've all been there a time or two. He needs to show a little of that "love" here. LOL
Oh goodness this was funny. I'm guessing your knew these kids. It makes me wonder though just what is so important that they have to be on those phones like that so much.
Hilarious, how many times have I seen people who should be talking to each other playing with their phones.

ReplyDeletePerfect. Any of us who've had kids go through this stage know just how perfect these shots are. Love the "time to go Mom" look!
ReplyDeleteYes, I have a cell phone and I have it with me all the time. That said, I still think land lines had their good features...they stayed at home! (o;
