wayback in black and white ...

I'm going to do a little time travel Sherman and Mr. Peabody style.
(one of my favorite Sunday morning cartoons as a child)

I got this radio when I was a tween and must say,
It Was The Bombdiggity!
As I recall, the selling point was that it could wrap around your wrist and had a headphone auxiliary mount.
It was the iPod of it's time.
Please note the AM frequency only.  You don't have to travel back in time to know that means - no cool/hip stations.  Seriously!
Oh, and for the record, it weighed a ton.  Just imagine strapping on a boombox to your wrist.
oy!

  1. How cool that you still have this -- I remember Panasonic's uber cool radios.

  2. I never had one of those but how cool is that?! I must say that the iPod is a bit more practical but not nearly as good looking.

  3. Made me laugh outloud! Bombdiggity, indeed! I remember the selling point of wearing it on your wrist...as though it weren't heavy and awkward as can be!
