time to suit up ...

we're getting closer and closer to some down time with the kiddos 

and as it has been awhile since a full on family vacation 

this is way over-due

for those with children gearing up to return to school in about a week and a half - I am sorry 

for those of us with children not returning to school until a more reasonable time - say, later in August 

 -- let the park fun begin! 

 (sorry! --- sorta!)

The upside to your kids growing up is that you can vacation on "off season" 

and with many schools going to near all-year-round 

the "off season" category is covering a larger period of time.

(looking for the silver linings in this whole getting 'old' thing wherever I can get them)
