9 to 5 | song*ography ...

9 to 5
by the incomparable
Dolly Parton

"I'm no fool. I've killed the boss, you think they're not gonna fire me for a thing like that?"

Workin' 9 to 5,
what a way to make a livin'
Barely gettin' by
it's all takin' and no givin'
They just use your mind
and they never give you credit
It's enough to drive you crazy
if you let it

~~~
Music that makes me want to pull out the movie and watch it again (for the umpthteenth time).
A true laughing * out * loud movie.
and lets be honest - who among us hasn't given the ole
rat poison / skinny n sweet switcheroo a thought at one point or the other?
  6. Yep, I've had bosses like that. Mostly when I was working as a paralegal in Boston. Wouldn't and to go back to those days for anything.
