Public Service Announcement
do not NOT attempt the Food andWine Festival at Disney EPCOT during a weekend.
(the crowds put July 4th to shame)
Drunk adults pushing strollers or riding electric scooters.
Lines for 45-50 minutes per vender for what amounts to an appetizer portion of food.
(I've seen people leave a restaurant for less wait time than that.)
Grown adults charging across the crowd with a cup-holder of mini-beers
cheering and laughing like they had won the golden ticket to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory.
(Now that sort of excitement I could get behind.)
It's shot glasses of beer folks - get a grip.
so that is what I took away from the Food and Wine Festival.
that and a mini food tray that is très cool.
Sounds crazy! Hope you still had a good time!!
ReplyDeleteWell that is disappointing!! I would have thought Disney would have better control of an event like this.
ReplyDeleteMust admit when we were there in November last year the electric scooters drove me crazy!
I'm disappointed to hear all of that too...hmmm.
ReplyDeletelol! appropriate photo! :)
ReplyDeleteInvite you to watch a new photo album on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a successful new week.
Those electric scooters bug me any time of year. I guess we have always done the Food & Wine Festival during the week, walk right up to the vendors.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning. Should I ever get there I'll avoid that for sure. Loved your photo.
ReplyDeleteLOL - thank you for the PSA! Something about food frenzied crowds are enough to stay home and cook things myself....
ReplyDeleteAnd a very cool photo - great processing on it!
