We've had a nice dose of winter over the past week and contrary to instructions I gave my daughter about dealing with the weather in Boston, I've done nothing but whine and complain.
It hasn't helped one bit.
I have failed to "deal with it".
My daughter, on the other hand, has forged through and even looked beyond the excess and frigid temperatures to appreciate its beauty; contributing to my collection of lamp pictures from Wellesley.
By the way, her birthday is this week - believe she is turning 20 ...
again ...
second time around.
{I probably need to work on dealing with that too; oh my! }

[excuse the hues - not technically a solid black/white edit, but certainly so in the ambience]
Beautiful picture. I do hope your daughter has a happy birthday x
ReplyDeleteBeatufiul shot! Nature's black and whites always include a few hues...love this! That campus is so beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great black and white. The snow is offering the B & W photographers a great season for their work!
ReplyDeleteAlthough the snow is a pain, it is beautiful. :))
ReplyDeleteDo as I say, not as I do. Always been my mantra when it comes to my Things :)
ReplyDeleteI love the subtle bit of color. Such a beautiful snowy scene even though everyone is sick of it on your end. Just send a bit our way. We are on pins and needles to see if a few flakes materialize today!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Allyson! Nice photo too.
ReplyDeleteIt is monochromatic enough to fit the theme, IMO. I do love the pristine beauty of a snow scene, although mainly in "theory". I dislike the reality of the grey, mushy stuff that inevitably comes over time (but Boston's probably received so much snow that most of it is still white!). I am quite ready for Spring to come!

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your daughter who has taken a fabulous snow shot. I like the liquid feeling it has and the subtle lighting.
