the GOOD ...
New England Clam Chowder - a 'must have' on a normal trip north, an 'absolute necessity' when you are battling a sinus/throat/head/something nasty kind of virus. While in Salem, Allyson and I stopped in for lunch at Scratch Kitchen where the service was genuine, the atmosphere local, and the food, homemade.
the RANDOM ...
this fella caught my attention in the subway station, but apparently no one else noticed.
Random to one is not random to another.
the FUN ...
making our way to Zaftig's Delicatessen in Brookline to meet up with blogging buddies Tamar and Adrienne where a good and fun time was had by all. I am so grateful that these ladies (and my daughter) persevered and stayed the course of meeting up despite everything that seemed to get thrown our way (me sick, transportation issues, and schedule aerobics).

Love that last shot - one of my favorite parts of my area!! So glad we got to meet up!
ReplyDeleteLooks fun all around. I wonder where that guy works to be dressed the way he is ! That last shot is fun because it looks modern and lost in time. I like it.
ReplyDeleteNicki, I loved your picture of the guy in the subway station...looks like he is headed to some sort of re-enactment! Great to meet up with blog buddies.
ReplyDeleteSo fun to see snippets of your time in Boston. Looks lovely despite being ill. Hope you are on the mend!
ReplyDeleteI like your choices, photo number two my favorite, what a lucky capture that was for random, and a rare sight to see.
ReplyDeleteAwesome you were able to meet up with fellow bloggers! The Chowdah and Lobstah are my favorite items to consume while visiting NE. And looks like most of the snow has melted! Bonus!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a randomly fun visit!
ReplyDeleteThat stinks about being sick, but glad you had a good time.
ReplyDeleteI love the guy at the bus station! Great shot - I love it!

It is so cool that you got to get together with Tamar and Adrienne. It's always great to be able to meet in real life the friends that we've know in bloggy space. :)
