A ballroom brings out the dancer in us all.
You can barely see them, but a mother and daughter were twirling around when I walked in,
leaving shortly after to have their portrait made in the adjoining room. Had I not put my fisheye lens on the camera to photograph the vast size of the room I could have better captured that special moment for prosperity
- but then, it wasn't my moment to capture up close but rather from afar as a witness, an appreciative audience.
"You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching.
Love like you'll never be hurt.
Sing like there's nobody listening.
And live like it's heaven on earth."

ReplyDeleteWhat a place! I marvel at how it's made, how the architects and builders get it right...how do they get a perfect circle. I love that you caught them dancing...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous in color and in black and white! That's so cool about witnessing The Dance!
ReplyDeleteDancing is something that I do alone in my room, too scary otherwise, or I need a lot of alcohol :)
