In less than 30 days I leave for Japan to visit with Allyson and I can't wait.
In the meantime I am practicing a few words/phrases she left for me to learn
(good morning, hello, excuse me - with emphasis on "excuse me"),
and packing 'stuff' we couldn'tfill fit squeeze into her suitcases when she left.
(plus maybe a surprise or two - and no Allyson, it's not Ike!)

My daughter was in the military for several years, and when she was stationed in a new place, I got to travel to see her. It was fun, but she never went to Japan. What a thrill. Maybe you can catch up Miyako!
