Friday's Letter ...

Dear Ike,
The price you pay for shadowing me around the house
 includes
pictures with out provocation,
an occasional step on the tail,
out bursts of 'GET DOWN',
unsolicited hugs,
and an arsenal of glitter fuzz balls.

While I'm at it, I might as well tell you
I am on a mission to replicate the cover of
THE FRENCH CAT
so until you cooperate and sprawl across an over-stuffed chair,
gaze into the camera (without getting up to smooch the lens),
we will continue this daily ritual of
pose the kitty
[click, click, click]
repose the kitty
[click, click, click].

Affectionately,
des hooman with des camera
und big feet

  3. I don't think I've ever seen a shot where I noticed the different variations in color in his left ye. Gorgeous! For someone who has to be reposed, you get some wonderful shots of him.

Its the same here, whenever I try to take pictures of the cats they want to smooch the lens!

  8. Well, I think I see your problem. NO cat wants to be a copy of another. You need to find him his own special pose. One that highlights his very special personality, not one that mimics some other french cat somewhere! LOL
Seriously, thanks for the heads up, I googled The French Cat and found some lovely cat pictures.
