taking care of business ...

I mentioned to Yolanda yesterday that I'm pretty much over long past worrying about swimsuit seasons,
and I don't plan on going down alone,
so let the baking commence.

There has been a box of Devil's Food Chocolate Cake Mix sitting in the pantry for way too long.

So I got this brilliant idea that something needed to be done about it.
Since cakes tend to die a slow death in this house (weird, right?), there had to be another option.

yea, that ought to do it.

Little by Little

  1. Haha -- love the comment about cake. It happens here too, only the chickens get to eat the dried up remains.

Cake mix cookies are awesome. :)

  12. Those look delish! Evan brought home some cake from a graduation party he attended last weekend. I threw it out yesterday. We just don't eat cake. Even for our birthdays, we eat pie. Just one of those things. Cookies would do, too.

  13. Oh Nicki...you always crack me up! Can I just say that when we make any cake in our house it is gone in mere hours? Same with cookies and basically anything I decide to make!
Your recipe card is brilliant. I am pinning it to my funny board :P
Thank you for baking something and taking pictures!

P.S. I plan on making these someday but I will probably forget about them for like 5 years then make them.
