You know winter has outstayed its welcome when a 4-6 inch forecast fails to bring out the

'bread and milk' crowd at the grocery store;

or when it takes an extra block of food to keep the spring birds from flying south.

But the ultimate dead give-away that winter is so yesterday's news is when the kids go
