When you can't take winter any more I highly recommend Disney -
just be prepared for the never ending "nationals" competition for cheerleaders.
We have yet to find a time of year when there are not hordes of cheerleaders at Disney. They travel in swarms and speak in cheerleaderese
where their pitch raises at the end of each sentence.
I know it would appear that we were just at Disney, and we sorta-kinda-were. Regardless, I always find new and different experiences:
Firsts trip where all pictures were taken with a cell phone;
I actually had a hooded rain coat when needed;
Northface rather than Dri-Fit;
and so many new food explorations.
Skipper's Canteen /Magic Kingdom
- chicken on rice.
and skipper's beefy mac & cheese.
Boat House - Disney Springs
- chocolate ice-cream encased in roasted marshmallow.
"serves 4" - so true, if they meant 4 tables. So much.
(ps, the firecracker shrimp - so OMG good I didn't think to take a picture)
California Grill - Contemporary Hotel
- sugar-free coffee cheesecake.
Exactly the right amount sweet to finish an amazing meal.
If you are ever at Disney World and wanting sushi - I can not recommend California Grill enough.
(and I've been to Japan - seriously, these people know their stuff).
ohhhhhh...my favorite part of visiting EPCOT is hitting each countries pastries...and doing Mexico for dinner. (The biggest thing I miss about West TExas...the Mexican food)
ReplyDeleteThat food - WOW! So glad you got away. Send some heat this way!
ReplyDeleteHow many times a year do you go to Disney? Always love the food...and everything there.
