NYC Saga / Staten Island Ferry . . .

Apparently Mother-Nature was saving this day for us because IT.WAS.GORGEOUS. Sunshine - wonderful SUNSHINE. The sky was popping and the ride on the ferry was so smooth you barely knew you were moving. I LOVE the "butt" sign inside the terminal - who knew I could actually 'store' my butt in Manhattan. All this time I've been lugging that huge thing everywhere with me!!!

  1. I just rolled through your NYC cllection. What a great flavor you all got of one of our favorite places! Your shots are excellent and really det the tone of the places you hit. And I loved that you got to experience the truth of the neighborhoods of NYC... very true.

  7. Really cool first photo! Did you use a rectangular fisheye, or does the sign actually curve up slightly on both ends like that? I like the composition!

  8. Angela - that sign is actually curved like that. I just quickly turned as we were leaving and took a quick shot before I lost the group - those kids were hoofing it!
