formalities . . .

Today is supposed to be "Formal Day" where the girls wear a dress from a former homecoming (kinda leaves the Freshman out!) and the boys sport a jacket and tie.


We woke up to rainy, dreary, yucky weather. The girl looked at what we fondly refer to as 'Ghosts of Homecomings Past' and said - "uhm, I don't think so!" The boy opted for the tie sans jacket, only to get a text from one of his friends saying "wear tye-dye, pass it along"... so we'll see.
