This week there was a photo challenge to post pictures of Halloween decorations. I figured it was time to share a group of witches that have been around our house for a long time (and no, dear husband, I'm not referring to me, my mom and sister....) but the Sanderson Sisters. They are cheap dime-store decorations that the kids immediately labeled as such after watching Hocus Pocus. While photographing them I remembered watching this for the first time on the Disney Channel when Allyson was about 18 months old. Back in the days when the Disney Channel was about cartoons and Disney movies, all without commercial breaks. I miss when you could watch a show without some little logo popping up in the corner of the screen, which has graduated to little people from the next show walking across the bottom of the screen and now commercials about characters of one show making fun of their little bodies walking across the bottom of the screen during their commercial about their show (which is probably currently on). and we wonder why there is an increase in the diagnosis of attention-deficit-disorder. whew!
