Thankful its Thursday . . .

I am so very thankful for mornings. After the hustle and bustle of getting kids up, fed and out the door to school (including husband), I look forward to sitting down with a cup of coffee and a small bowl of dry cereal. It is my routine, my moment of tranquility before I take on the house chores or work assignments.

For most of my adult life I was a tea drinker, but several years before mom passed away she introduced me to the wicked goodness of flavored coffee, in particular, French Vanilla. On our way home from visiting her in Virginia one Thanksgiving we stopped for gas and refreshments. As soon as I spotted this red coffee mug and I knew I had to have it. I have used it exclusively since and each time I am reminded of that wonderful Thanksgiving with mom.
