The 12 Days of Christmas are just about complete. The shopping is finished at our house. If we haven't gotten it yet, it won't be gotten. If it can be lived without until after Christmas - then "living without it" is our motto. The last couple of days before Christmas I stay as far from the mall and grocery stores as is humanly possible. I suspect many people take the same approach which leaves me wondering if maybe everyone is staying away from the mall and grocery stores, and thus, the last couple of days before Christmas is actually the best time to go shopping. ???Maybe all those men who wait until the 11th hour know something we righteous women don't...
.... naught, I refuse to believe that.
It is the best time to go shopping if you are masochistic and don't mind crowds and picked-over selections. What woman in her right mind wouldn't want a gift pack of ArmorAll auto cleaning products...the only thing left on the shelf? I also am a big believer in "if we don't have it, you don't need it"
ReplyDeleteROFL at Pats comment! And I needed a few things for dinner and went to the store today. After seeing the parking lot I decided it wasn't that important and I'd make something different. It was crazy out there today!

ReplyDeleteNo - my boy talked me into stopping by Walmart yesterday and it was an intolerable mess. I am such a sucker for that kid!!!! Very pretty ornament!
