What cool glasses! You may have noticed that I'm rather partial to this color green . . . I loved your February photo from your previous post. Happy New Year, Nicki!
Just came across your blog and love your photos! Excited to be your newest follower! Happy New Year - I look forward to seeing more of your work in the coming year!
Thanks everyone. The glasses are "WV glass" hand blown and passed down by my mom - I love that they are green - her favorite color. As for the champagne, we had a bottle of Welches Sparkle in the fridge for a couple of years - a left over from one of the kids' parties, and they decided they wanted to open it and drink some at midnight (no party this year). I took a small sip and determined it was no longer grape juice, and out of concern that it might make them both sick, we opted for Serra Mist. Rather deflating, but served its purpose for a toast.
I love the color and the angle of this shot. Now I might have to go make myself something frothy to drink.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a very wonderful New Year Day. It is by far one of my favorite days of the year. So much potential.
Very nice and sharp too.

ReplyDeleteSo, Nicki, are there "weekly themes" for 2011? If so, where can I find them, do you know?
