I enjoy taking the all-encompassing "big picture" shots, but LOVE photographing the smaller details that make up the "big picture". I do not own a true Macro lens - heaven forbid if I did. As it is, I currently take too many pictures and despirately need to learn to delete in-camera. Perhaps once I have mastered that ritual I can add to my style of photography. In the mean time . . .
What a wonderful carousel! It looks like something at the Grand Floridian... I am a details girl, too. You might have figured that out. ;-)

ReplyDeleteGreat details. What a pretty carousel. I asked my dh if he would buy me a real carousel for a prop he said no. Congratulations on your graduate.

ReplyDeleteVery nice! I remember as a kid really wanting a carousel music box. I still have it ... I should use it as a photo subject.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture! I recognize that from the Grand Floridian!
ReplyDeleteActually, this is from Boardwalk - I believe the Grand Floridian also has one (must have gotten a BOGO).
ReplyDeleteGorgeous carousel! You still managed to catch a lot of beautiful details without a macro lens!
