I'm not sure what the deal was this week, but I just wasn't feeling it for the scavenger hunt prompts. Don't get me wrong - they were not especially difficult words - I simply didn't find (or make) the time to go out and collect new pictures . As such, I have pulled from the archives from our travels in the past year (or two) and loosely applied them to the prompts.

I have countless barn pictures taken from our travels - most of which were photographed from the highway as we zoomed by --- love them!
impressive collection of early hand writing in the "Before The Pyramids" exhibition
(I've translated many a medical charts with similar writing)
along with my collection of barns, I have accumulated many steeples.

ReplyDeleteLovely interpretations! The 'glimpse' is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI've seen that same carved stone at the U of C - great choice!!
ReplyDeleteI had a hard time with this week's prompts too. But I think you did a great job for not feeling it. Your handwritten picture is awesome! You stopped by my blog and asked how I did the image that was mostly black & white, except for the orange. What I did was used the Magic Lasso tool in Photoshop to select the orange. Then I went to Select up on the top menu. In Select I chose Inverse selection, which then changed my selection from being the orange to being everything but the orange. The I went to Image at the top, chose Adjustments and then chose Black & White. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteI like how your photos take us to so many different places. Each image has its own story to tell. Nice set!

ReplyDeleteIf I have to pick a favorite this week, I would say the barn. But I love all of them!
