shs - Spring Break Edition . . .

This week my mind was on enjoying the location and time with the kids - the camera got limited use, consequently my submissions for the scavenger hunt are perhaps pushing the envelope.

whim-sy (hwim'ze) n., pl. - sies: 1 a sudden, odd notion, 2 quaint or fanciful humor

(a little humor in the beach house art)

cre*ate (kre at') 1 to cause to come into existence; make; originate, 2 to bring about; give rise to; cause

(I've created a monster, I mean a photographer!)

dust (dust) 1 powdery earth or any finely powdered matter, 2 earth, 3 disintegrated mortal remains, 4 anything worthless

(this week it was sand - everywhere)

seed (sed) 1a) the part of a plant, containing the embryo, from which a new plant can grow, b) such seeds collectively, 2 the source of anything, 3 descendants; posterity

(the seeds for many dandelions)

swing (swin) 1 to sway or move backward and forward, 2 to walk, trot, etc. with relaxed movement, 3 to strike, 4 to turn, as on a hinge, 5 to move in a curve, 6 to hang; be suspended, 7 [slang] to be ultra-fashionable

(what I spotted on the gate swing going into the pool)

  10. Where did you go? That sand looks divine! I, too, forget to take enough pictures while on vacation. Then, when I'm back, I want to kick myself for not having taken more. Oh, well, I guess it gives us a reason to go back . . .
