Memorial Day . . .

Yes, this weekend ushers us into Summer and all that we associate with the season,

but it is more than an usher. 

It is a remembrance of those who gave their life so that we can maintain a concept so ingrained in our way of living that we go about it without having to contemplate the vastness of it.

We approach this weekend with high expectations of what the ensuing months will hold for us:

vacations, 

breaks, 

lazy evenings sitting in the shade, 

weekends on the lake,

being outside (even if it is to weed the garden/yard). 

FREEDOM to break away from the drudgery of the rest of the year.
