This week wrapped up my little girl's first year of college (except for the finals),
my return to a work schedule outside the home (albeit, temporarily),
and purpose driven photography (rather than on a whim).
it has been a packed week - mentally, physically, emotionally.
and did I mention that I somehow managed to squeeze in some pictures for the scavenger hunt?

~ keys ~
this old grandfather clock has two locations to be wound by the key,
but at this stage just tipping the pendulum will get it running and sound the chimes.

direct from the '70s. (can you believe I still have these earrings? I can't!)

ooohhh what a great set, you had some creative ideas!!
ReplyDeletei have a very soft spot for deer....
your key, be still my heart, it's awesome!!
Oh - your pictures were not showing up for me when I left the house two hours ago! I really like the one with the key! And on the smilie earing - you just reminded me I'm supposed to be cleaning out my jewelry box & dresser instead of reading blogs! :-0 :-0 But yeah, I believe you still have it. :-) :-) :-) Even THOUGH I'm cleaning out my jewelry box & getting rid of stuff, jewelry is one of those things you can keep for a looooooooooooong time without purging, because it takes up so little space. It's not like keeping excess furniture or clothing or small appliances around, y'know?
ReplyDeleteYour fish shot would make a great menu shot! Love the white on white.
ReplyDeleteYour key shot is great!!

ReplyDeleteI think your keys shot is awesome but the smile shot sure brings back some memories. Yes, I'm old enough to remember them.
ReplyDeleteYes, I can believe you still have those earrings! I have a LOT of old earrings! Once in a while I'm tempted to get rid of some of them, but I chicken out and put them in an old jewelry chest. I hope some day I'll have a granddaughter and I'll be able to give them to her for dress up play. Or to a grandson, as part of a treasure chest booty. Gotta think ahead sometimes . . . that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
