the lights flickered twice ...

and then it hit. 

 A thunder storm that had more wind than rain.

we were very fortunate all things considered 

and now we have internet. 

 small price to pay considering the considerable hardships many have 

and continue to suffer at the hands of mother nature. 

so I'm back;
at least for the time being
- it's rumbling and blowing outside.
