I don't know ... what ever ...

must be the moon or something because I've felt increasingly moody as this week has progressed.
then again, it may be the juxtapose of holidays - Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas.
because of Frakenstorm Sandy, our Halloween was rescheduled,
so while we should be gearing up for Thanksgiving, we are instead fresh off a sugar high
(who am I kidding - it's still rolling!)
and Christmas is upon us in full force.
and I realized last night that not only do I have no ideas for gifts
- frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!
then there is the whole 'end of day-light-savings time'.
 my inside is frazzled
and frustrated.

  2. yep, know exactly what you mean...I think I am going to blame it on the time change...I think it just takes us awhile to get used to the early darkness and shortened days. And we have had very little sunshine along with early darkness. Time to get out the Vitamin D.

    1. good idea. I was going to go with using my moodiness to drive the men crazy here at the house - but I guess Vitamin D might be the more humane route. :)

  3. Love your photo! Have not given Christmas a second thought. It will be a mad scramble around here in about a month, I think. We haven't even made our Thanksgiving reservations yet. Got to get on that. We got six inches of snow yesterday to make things even more interesting.

  9. This is LOVELY!! I'd use this for a card.

I think we are all overwhelmed right now. The holidays have become so commercial, and so there is the constant blitz of the retailers trying to get our money earlier and earlier. By the time the holiday comes (whether it is Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas---or in the retail sense, Hallogivingmas) we are so burned out by the buy-buy pressure we could care less.
