Last week we traveled 6 hours round trip daily in order for my husband to volunteer as a Marshal at the PGA Greenbrier Classic Golf Tournament.
We managed to endure rain at some point during our travel
each.and.every.day.
"beware of showers"
- okay-dokey!
fortunately we had a fair share of sunny skies during the tournament
and occasionally it showed up for our journey.
days that sometimes started at 3 am and ended at 11 or 12 pm.
would we do it again?
yep,
in a heart beat!
[next time though, hotel accommodations are in order.]
That's a lot of traveling!! Gorgeous road pictures!!

Yep, that is a lotta traveling...hotel time next year for sure!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome home! Love those clouds in the second pic. Glad to hear you had a great time.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of road time. With the rain though, at least your vehicle is washed off a bit! Yes, you should definitely get a hotel room next time!
ReplyDeleteAnd my husband, I suspect, would have been right there doing it too, had he had the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteMe, I'm more in the Mark Twain vein that sees golf as "a good walk spoiled". LOL To each his own hobby, I guess.
