As I put together this post I glanced out the window and noticed red leaves on the tree;
it can't be Autumn already,
and yet all signs are pointing in that direction.
.. .. ..
Enjoy the moment, treasure it, then move on because the next one has the potential to be even better.
OH I LOVE your last sentence in this post!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd your pics are amazing!
Mm that is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! I've been feeling the change of seasons coming. As much as I love the fall I dread what comes after it.
ReplyDeleteI like how you allowed the space within...
ReplyDeletegreeting.
Peaceful, beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteLove this perfect image and perfect words....
ReplyDeleteWonderful rendering of this shot, Nicki. So much more powerful in these muted tones. Love that last sentiment. I may need to put that on my mirror.
ReplyDeleteIt's still in the 100's so i'm not feeling the change of seasons just yet...but I sure do wish I could! Wonderful picture!
ReplyDeleteYour photo and texturing is just great. Looks like it would make a great canvas hanging. Love it....
ReplyDeleteWe've had some Fall like days and nights already here in Ohio. Love the bit cooler, but not ready for cold, cold.
Happy Tuesday

So beautiful Nicki!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo and words. I too have noticed some red leaves even though it is heating up here again.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot and lovely words.
ReplyDeleteWhen we live in SE Asia for 8 years, we had to get used to life without drastic seasons. Just, hot, hotter, and wet. I finally adjusted and now being back in the US, I am often caught off guard by season changes. Just when you get in the swings of a season, it changes. However, I love autumn! I always seek to savor it a little more than the others.
ReplyDeleteStill enjoying the last lazy days of summer here. Fall won't really start to show up here until the middle of September. Your photo is wonderful and I like the sentiment that you posted along with it.
ReplyDeleteWords of wisdom! I really enjoy autumn, but I don't want to rush things. But things are starting to dull down around here, too.
ReplyDeleteThat last line gave me goosebumps....you are amazing Nicki.
ReplyDeleteohhhhh and I am SO looking forward to Autumn.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo and I needed the reminder that fall is on it's way. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteIt's rather hot here right now -- for the first time all summer. :)
ReplyDeleteWe see some red on trees already, too. I love your quote about treasuring the moment, then moving on because the best is yet to come :)
ReplyDeleteWe had some strong signs of fall the last couple weeks, but this weekend it got hot, and it still is. Hoping for a cool down - I'm ready for full on extended fall.
ReplyDeleteA very sereme and calming shot.
ReplyDeleteAnd by "sereme"???? I meant "serene" :)
