Sometimes ya just gotta bike on down to the neighborhood diamond shop and have yourself a bag of popcorn.
Tell me this happens to everyone - right?!

My granddad drove a Bronco like this - only not in red, and possibly with a few more dings and rust.
Otherwise it looked just like this.

I am infatuated with trees - including their shadows.
I think it is a common disposition among photographers.

As of last Saturday I had walked 265 miles since January.
It has made a slight indentation on my waistline but done little to limber up my patience.
Might be time for some yoga.

Colors and flowers make me happy. If you can look at these and not think of Spring, look again.

I love your first photo - what a fun catch! Way to go with your walking! Your flowers are beautiful - and yes, Spring!
ReplyDeleteThe Bronco and flowers are amazing! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLOL just by looking at your first picture and reading the words! I hear my hubby (behind me) saying... stop, let me see that Bronco! Yes he's into vintage cars and loved the image and I loved your edit. You made 2 people happy here :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! My dad drove a Jeep Cherokee with wooden side panels...so 70s :)
ReplyDeleteThe patience sign is SO good!!
ReplyDeleteA nice series of shots! Love that Bronco!
ReplyDeleteI always have a bag of popcorn at my local diamond retailer! These are so fun! Love the pink flowers. What a beautiful arrangement for spring! Congrats on all those miles walked since January!
ReplyDeleteOh your photos are wonderful I LOVE the old Bronco. Great random 5. B
ReplyDeleteLove that old Bronco, great processing. And yeah, my only glimpse of spring here is a bouquet of flowers from TJ's. They have to do until we really get spring. And who doesn't get popcorn at the diamond dealer (??)
ReplyDeleteFun photos! Fun facts! Have a fun weekend, too!
ReplyDeleteI did driver's training in a Ford Bronco, it was great!
ReplyDeleteThat 1st shot is very interesting...perhaps he's not eating popcorn but instead has a bag of those "loose" diamonds!
ReplyDeleteLoved the Bronco shot. Reminded me of my little brothers Eagle Jeep he use to own. - Great processing there.
Wow you've done well on the walking. I'm going to start next week on Monday (oops better make that Wednesday) since I'm going Gambling on Monday & Bowling on Tuesday to get more walking in.
I like the Patience sign and your pretty pink flowers are lovely but I'm not finding anything in the right corner. Can I have another hint? - Also thanks for stopping by my blog. I liked what you said about cats & showing love. Don't think I'll lick anyone though any time soon. Also the comment about Thyroid and men...that made me laugh.
:) I noticed the palm tree tree shadows before I even read your caption, yes it's a photography thing. At least it is for me. And love your last shot, such lovely pinkness!
ReplyDeletehaha of course we all ride our bikes to the diamond store and eat popcorn!! i also love trees and shadows :) i enjoyed your randoms! have a great weekend :)

Good for you walking all those miles!! Terrific photos today, too. Well, I would be riding my bike down to the diamond shop if I had a bike and there was a diamond shop around.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the laugh! Truly enjoyed your post this week. I saw the " spring" but not seeing it here.
ReplyDeleteThat is a tremendous amount of walking, Nicki - way to go! I do yoga and I find it compliments my other physical activities - I highly recommend it! Love your flower picture - very much Spring. I am patiently waiting for it to show up here!
ReplyDeleteThe palm tree shadow is creative. I always look up at them and admire them. Now I'll be looking down at their shadows, too! Good for you for walking so much! I'm sure it's boosting your health, whether or not your waist is getting smaller. I bet you feel great, too!
ReplyDeleteYou are too funny! Thanks for the laugh! Yup, shadows and trees....Love the old Bronco. We had an International Scout. They knew how to make them back then.. Love the flowers. xo Karen
ReplyDeleteLove the Bronco edit!
ReplyDeleteYes, shadows are an attraction for me as well. Really nice shot of all the trees but one shadow - cool.
Just love those vintage Broncos -- I had a '95 Bronco back in the day and always enjoyed driving it.
ReplyDeleteI use to drive a brown Bronco and absolutely lived it!!! Those pink flowers are so pretty. Xo Nicki
