One of my resolutions at the beginning of the year was to get a better handle on Instagram and actually use this app that had been sitting on my cell phone for at least a year. So when Kelly at justaclickaway mentioned a photo challenge for the month of April, it sounded like the perfect opportunity to kick that goal into action. Hashtags and uploading strategies be damned, I set aside any concerns of failure or embarrassment for lack of know-how and practiced what I preach: "you're never too old to learn". The fact is, you either keep up or get left behind and with both of my children soon to be residing elsewhere, fluency in social media is the currency of communication.
Getting left behind is simply not an option.
The following are some of my favorites from the last 30 days.
my hill on someone elses property | monumental throw-back-thursday | floral love in yellow
InstaHip.InstaCool.InstaStyle | CaliFUNication | Take Me Home Country Road tracks
Beachful Wishing | Welcome Spring | what's black/white and Grey all over

Hurray for you, Nicky. You did a fabulous job, oh man I love this collage! I'm still 2 months away before I can get my Iphone.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty! You've inspired me!
ReplyDeleteI completely enjoyed every shot you posted! and I totally agree with you - I started blogging, etc. just to try to stay up to date in this ever-changing world of social media.
ReplyDeleteYes, very inspirational! I tried...but just couldn't stick with it. Things have been so dreary here, I lost my motivation. As I said, really love that kitty cat! And the rr tracks and ferris wheel are wonderful too. I have to shoot over to igram and find that yellow flower from the bottom row - I don't remember that one popping up - and it just might be my fave!
ReplyDeleteI love the watercolor effect!!
ReplyDeleteLoving what you have done with that app.. I am doing an IG 365.. What was I thinking.
